1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Prōfyl ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Prōfyl is a digital business card platform that allows users to create, publish, and share a personal or professional digital card accessible via a unique URL and QR code.
3. User Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@getprofyl.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
5. Payments & Lifetime Deals
Lifetime Deal (LTD) purchases are one-time payments that grant lifetime access to the features described at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if the Service does not function as described — contact us at support@getprofyl.com.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the content you publish on your card. By using the Service, you grant Prōfyl a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Prōfyl retains all rights to its platform, design, and code.
7. Availability & Modifications
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. For LTD customers, core card publishing features will not be removed without offering a full refund.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your public card will be unpublished.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prōfyl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
